The Guild is back! After a long wait of more than two years, the Guild is now back in circulation. With the new staff headed by Ms. Gyelyita Bering, BSHRM 4, and through the guidance of the energetic advisers, Ms. Josephine Ortega and Ms. Rios Tita Jotes, the latest issue was released at the first day of the school year 2010, January 4. The Guild staff together with their lovely advisers had their first Journalism-Seminar Workshop at Villa Igang Beach Resort, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras last November 7-9, 2010. It served as a training for all the new staffers as well as the venue for planning to materialize the forthcoming issues of the Guild.

46th WIT Annual Cultural Contest |

WIT 46th Annual Cultural Contest brought Liberal Arts Department into a big bash celebration. The department was crowned as the over-all champion for the said event. They brought home the bacon as they got 4 trophies for the 1st place namely; English Oration, English Group Storytelling, Debate and Essay Writing Contest. Issandra Joy Bulahan got 2nd Place for Vocal Solo Pop, Adones Belandres, a 3rd Placer for the Hiligaynon Declamation. And also LA got 2nd Place for the Contemporary Dance. The event was participated by the different departments of Western Institute of Technology including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Information Technology, Accountancy, Business Administration, Secretarial, Hotel and Restaurant Management and Liberal Arts Department. |
