“Extreme, Supreme, WITtians Dare to Dream”. WITtians were enjoined in theme of this annual Acquaintance Party spearheaded by the WIT Student Government which promotes camaraderie, unity and fellowship. Heavy rains, power interruption and technical difficulties due limited power supply did not convince the students to go home but still they patiently wait for the event to start. The said event was held at the STS Gymnasium last July 27, 2018.

Departmental and non-departmental organization’s officers were inducted by the incumbent City Councilor, Hon. Elly Estante, giving them an inspiration on how to be of service to their peers. It was followed with CHEERS AND YELLS CONTEST where the Philippines Institute of Civil Engineers(PICE)-WIT Chapter emerged as the champion. After that, the show off of the contestants of YOUR FACE SOUNDS FAMILIAR, as WITtians try to replicate celebrities showcasing their looks and talent. It was followed by a show off of the students who really prepare and give extra effort in wearing the theme outfits of the night. Norjohn Sumagaysay won as the HEAD TURNER, John Louise Barba as the BARKADA OF THE NIGHT, KV Azucena is the MILLENNIAL KING and Pearly Mae Diaz is the MILLENNIAL QUEEN and the Star of the Night is AYZHA MAE CATALOGO who really standout in their glamorous outfit. On the other hand, for the segment of Your Face Sounds Familiar after they presented, the Junior Business Executive Association (JBEA) won as the 1st Runner up, followed by the Junior Philippines Institute of Accountancy (JPIA) won as the 2nd Runner up and the 3rd Runner is the Philippines Institute of Civil engineering (PICE). In the highlight event which is the search for MR. WIT LIIT 2018, two from the department of Business Administration representative won 2nd and 3rd Runner up, namely, Jonathan Besares won 3rd Runner up and Jhun Lascano won 2nd Runner up. And the search for Mr. WIT Liit 2018 is Andrew Carnaje from the Department of Civil Engineering.

“Though power interruptions and technical errors occured during the program which caused delays and inconveniences, we were still able to give our best for the success of the event and also for everyone to enjoy the program”, Ms. Christy Joy Matricular, WITSG President said. The students enjoyed till the best part of the event where they party and rocked till sunrise to the beat of DJ Martin Go and DJ James Belandres.
