WIT 46th Annual Cultural Contest brought Liberal Arts Department into a big bash celebration. The department was crowned as the over-all champion for the said event. They brought home the bacon as they got 4 trophies for the 1st place namely; English Oration, English Group Storytelling, Debate and Essay Writing Contest. Issandra Joy Bulahan got 2nd Place for Vocal Solo Pop, Adones Belandres, a 3rd Placer for the Hiligaynon Declamation. And also LA got 2nd Place for the Contemporary Dance. The event was participated by the different departments of Western Institute of Technology including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Information Technology, Accountancy, Business Administration, Secretarial, Hotel and Restaurant Management and Liberal Arts Department.
The success would not be accomplished without the effort of Engr. Leanne Claire Marie S. Fernandez as the Over-all Chairman of the event as well as the Cultural Coordinator itself. The following were the people and organizations that helped for the success of the 46th WIT Annual Cultural Contest:
